Do I have to choose the languages before starting?
No. All Voices identifies the language of every line as it is spoken, out of more than 60. When two languages are in play it pairs them and interprets both directions, even when neither of them is the language you read.
How is it different from the translate app on my phone?
Those apps translate one sentence at a time between two languages you pick from a menu. All Voices follows the whole conversation instead: several languages at once, every speaker labelled, and the transcript kept with the audio rather than a history list.
How is it different from an AI notetaker?
AI notetakers are designed mainly to capture meetings, produce notes and support follow-up workflows; some meeting platforms also provide live translated captions. All Voices is designed first for live multilingual understanding in the room and on its listener pages, while keeping the audio, transcript, summary and action items afterwards.
Do the other people need to install anything?
No. One phone or browser listens for the whole room, and no bot joins your call. Everyone else just talks, and can read along on your screen if they want.
How many languages can one conversation contain?
Several. Two are interpreted both ways; from three upwards, every line is translated into the language you chose to read. Sentences that switch language midway are handled too.
Does it work offline?
No. Live transcription and translation need an internet connection. If the connection drops, All Voices keeps the recording while it reconnects; it does not switch to an offline recognition engine.
What does it cost next to interpreters or event platforms?
$19 buys 18 hours, about a dollar an hour, and the hours never expire; packs start at $9. AI event translation is typically sold at tens of dollars per hour per language, in packages with minimums and expiry dates.
Can I replay or search a conversation afterwards?
Yes. The audio is stored in sync with the transcript line by line, a summary with action items is written when you stop, and you can put questions to the meeting afterwards. Everything stays searchable.
